Still, I Remain by Cheshire based artist Kirsty Coleman is a deeply contemplative work, embodying quiet resilience and enduring presence. There is a weight to this piece, not only its physical form but in its emotional depth. The sculpted features carry a sense of time and experience, as though the figure has endured and remains, calm, grounded and unshaken. 

The surface is richly worked with layered tones of bronze, charcoal and muted turquoise glazes. These textures enhance the tactile quality of the ceramic, evoking an almost archaeological presence as if the piece has emerged from the earth, carrying stories within its form.
