This striking ceramic sculpture by Cheshire based artist Kirsty Coleman presents a contemplative horned figure, poised in a moment of quiet introspection. Guardian of Silence explores the delicate boundary between the human and the mythical, where vulnerability and strength exist in perfect balance. 

There’s a quiet intensity within the closed eyes and softened expression, inviting the viewer into a more reflective, almost meditative space. Rich in surface detail, the work is glazed  with colours of turquoise, charcoal, and earthy tones. These subtle variations enhance the tactile quality of the ceramic, giving the piece a beautifully weathered almost archaeological feel, as though it has emerged from another time.
