Echo of Becoming by Cheshire based artist Kirsty Coleman is a striking ceramic sculpture that blurs the boundary between the human and the symbolic. The figures tilted head and elongated form create a sense of quiet introspection, while the horn like extensions introduce a totemic almost mythological presence.

The surface is richly textured with layered glazes in warm ochres and deep, weathered tones, evoking the feel of aged earth or artefact. Subtle markings add depth and narrative as though the piece carries traces of memory and transformation within its form.
