Carrie Anne Funnell is one of the UK’s most exciting artists working in glass today. Winning numerous awards she constantly pushes the boundaries of what glass is capable of, she offers an extensive range of impressive garden sculptures, home design, platters, lamps and wall art.

Carrie was born in Cambridgeshire in 1978 and was a natural born artist. Graduating from De Montfort University Leicester with a first class BA Honours Degree in 3D design with glass her specialism.

Carrie lectured in the subject at the Isle College Cambridgeshire, in less than a year she founded Carrie Anne Funnell Glass Art with her partner Sean Mickleburgh.
Over the next eight years Carrie Anne Funnell Art received extensive media coverage and won a number of awards earning her national and international recognition for her bespoke works of art. In 2009 after a rapid and exhausting rise to success Carrie and Sean took 12 months off, travelling the world to over 25 countries, an experience that gave Carries work a whole new world of cultural influence and ideas.

Recently , Carrie exhibits annually at the RHS Show at Chelsea, having won 5 star Trade-stand award 7years running.
