Where Time Stands Still

Artist: David Warilow
Medium: Acrylic & Oils

Where Time Stands Still is an atmospheric original landscape painting by British artist D.J. Warilow, created in acrylic and oils.

Bathed in soft golden light, the composition captures a wonderfully still moment in the landscape. A low sun hangs over the distant horizon, illuminating the water and surrounding countryside, while the overhanging branches create a striking natural frame.

Warilow's handling of light and texture gives the painting an almost dreamlike quality. Areas of softly blended colour contrast beautifully with the more tactile, expressive marks of the foliage, drawing the eye through the composition towards the hazy distance.

There is a wonderful sense of tranquillity to Where Time Stands Still , a painting that evokes those fleeting moments in the British countryside when everything seems completely peaceful.
