Silver Jug is an original acrylic still life by renowned British artist Laura Critchlow, a distinguished member of the royal Academy of Miniature Painters. 
At the heart of the composition sits an exquisitely engraved silver jug, its polished surface capturing subtle reflections and demonstrating Laura’s remarkable ability to paint light and texture with extraordinary realism. Painting fresh lemons, ripe cherries, a richly coloured fig and delicate flowers creating a timeless composition full of colour and balance.

As with many of Laura’s originals, a tiny insect has been discreetly hidden within the painting, rewarding collectors who take the time to explore every carefully painted detail. This playful signature has become a much loved feature of her work.
