Silent Liberty presents an evocative and contemporary interpretation of New York’s most enduring symbol. Set against a vast, textured sky and shimmering water, the Statue of Liberty emerges in quiet strength, both distant and commanding.

This piece leans into mood and atmosphere. Industrial silhouettes fade into the background, while the foreground water catches the light in fractured, reflective detail creating a sense of movement beneath an otherwise still and contemplative scene.

Ben Ark’s signature mixed media technique combining photography, ink, acrylic and resin builds a richly layered surface. The resin finish enhances contrast and depth, giving the work a luminous almost cinematic quality that shifts with changing light.
