Raven Small Vessel.

Medium -Wood. Using mainly English native 'green' (recently felled) timber,

H x 18cm W x 15cm

Exquisite hand carved rich detail created with pyrography. The black pieces are sealed with black artists acrylic and the interior is finished in mineral paint with a coat of clear furniture wax. This piece has detailed slithers of colour in a pearlescent acrylic paint of a blue and purple.

Any gilded areas on the exterior have been sealed with a brushed, transparent waterproof acrylic varnish to prevent tarnishing, the natural wood surfaces are sealed with an artists clear varnish and the interior is finished in chalk paint.

This is a decorative object and should not be used to store fruit or to hold water for flowers etc.
