Peekaboo (Large) is a beautifully observed bronze sculpture that captures a tender and playful exchange between mother and cub. The large bear leans gently over the top of textured rock form while the cub climbs upward from below creating  vertical composition full of movement, curiosity and connection.The interaction between the two suggest trust, guidance and the quiet moments that shape life in the wild.

David Meredith’s stylised approach gives the bears smooth flowing contours while preserving their character and individuality. The rich bronze patina enhances the warmth of the scene with light catching the curves and deepening in the recesses.
