Ruby Keller

Ruby Keller

Ruby Keller is the pseudonym of acclaimed British artist Peter Worswick, created as an outlet to explore a more experimental approach to painting beyond his established figurative and landscape work.

Born in Lancashire in 1960, Worswick studied Art and Design before travelling throughout Europe and spending three years living in Paris. Now based in Cumbria, he has enjoyed a successful professional career spanning decades, with his award-winning work exhibited throughout the UK and held in private collections worldwide.

In 2010, Peter began exhibiting a selection of work under the name Ruby Keller, allowing him the freedom to experiment with new techniques, styles and subjects. His distinctive wildlife paintings proved an immediate success and have since become increasingly sought after by collectors.

Bold, characterful and contemporary, Ruby Keller's paintings demonstrate the same accomplished draughtsmanship and technical ability for which Peter Worswick is renowned, while revealing an altogether different side to his artistic practice.
